My Book: “Society, tourism and collective consciousness”

 This book represents our second endeavor to articulate the challenges we face. In our initial exploration (contained in the first book), we delved into the overall character of society. Now, our focus is on scrutinizing the collective consciousness. I've consistently asserted that directing attention to the minor issues within society and making strides toward resolving them can elevate our intellectual pursuits. Each of us perceives numerous problems in our surroundings, and within each of us resides a longing to contribute to their solutions. However, a common hurdle arises—who possesses the answers to these problems? This question resonates with everyone in society.

Our society operates on a peculiar logic where we maintain an extensive critical perspective but often lack the impetus to translate it into action. It has become customary for us to meticulously scrutinize the actions of all the accountable individuals in society, attributing various shortcomings to them. Despite the abundant conveniences afforded by today's scientific advancements, the foundations of our society are gradually eroding due to inadequate recognition and neglect. There exists a pressing need for proper identification and attention to prevent the hollowing of our societal structures.

While we assert that Islam imparts guidance across all facets of life, it raises questions as to why our society is deviating from parallel standards based on unconventional principles. A closer examination of our Pakistani society provides ample opportunities for understanding and concern. I am convinced that a more profound exploration into sociology is imperative to address these discrepancies.

Interestingly, this incident unfolds just as the entire world is immersed in celebrating the "International Day of Daughters." Social media platforms are flooded with quotes on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, and the like, emphasizing the status, importance, and place of daughters in life. In the midst of these celebrations, where the world is honoring daughters, the harsh reality of women like Sarah being victimized presents a stark contradiction within our society.

Firstly, the delicate gender, referring to daughters in the context of this article, is considered a symbol of mercy and compassion for parents. As per the hadith's interpretation, Allah blesses a household by gracing it with a daughter. The act of killing a woman named Sarah contradicts the very foundations, principles, and values upheld by such a society. It not only defies these principles but also raises a significant question about the integrity of those foundational values.

Secondly, the individuals in this society exhibit indifference, favoring superficial actions, and those who claim to comprehend the society's foundations often base their understanding on division and discord, driven by sensual instincts. Their proficiency appears limited to verbal communication, raising doubts about their actual competence beyond rhetoric. Scholars, writers, Sheikhs, Elder and Mentor may come across as more articulate in speech than in practical application, challenging the perception society holds of their efficacy as individuals.

In a society marked by a stark disparity between its external appearance and internal reality, compassion tends to wither away, animosity towards the marginalized class intensifies, and numerous individuals within the society become prey to barbarism.

This book represents a modest endeavor to advance towards that objective. Particularly in the initial section, novel sociological topics have been explored, capturing the attention of influential circles. Therefore, I believe that my progression towards a more significant issue is not without merit. It is anticipated that this book will serve as a gateway, opening numerous doors for exploration and understanding.
