The spring season is about to begin

As the spring season approaches, let not human instincts waver; may every bud eagerly anticipate blooming without disturbing the essence of human nature. Trees, flowers, crops, and every living entity should affirm their existence, while humans remain in awe without being consumed by attraction. However, this seems unlikely, for the sight of these natural elements captivates the human spirit. The energy and emotional resonance evoked by the vibrant and enchanting scenes of spring reach the divine throne.

The picturesque landscapes during the spring season turn a person into a poet, inspiring philosophical thoughts, and through prose, one becomes a master of nature. Gilgit-Baltistan emerges as the ultimate destination for such breathtaking sights. Here, the beauty of trees, the fragrance of flowers, and the swiftness of crops convince us of the eternal and everlasting greatness and majesty of Allah.

I hold the belief that throughout the four seasons of the year, we, as humans, are presented with a remarkable opportunity to witness and feel the magnificence of the Almighty up close. Even when we close our physical eyes, the eyes of our hearts perceive everything, guiding us to turn our focus and appreciation toward the greatness of the Divine.

Yet, this profound connection can only be cultivated when we engage in sightseeing with the purpose of exploring nature rather than merely passing time. It is through this intentional exploration that we can truly feel and contribute to the beauty of Mother Earth. Nations that consistently stand out are those who harbor a deep love and passion for their land. Notably, their commitment extends to the safeguarding of recreational areas, actively promoting cleanliness and preventing issues such as littering, seizing every opportunity for access and enhancement.

Several distinguished students from the Department of Management Sciences, University of Baltistan, Skardu, initiated a program during the 3rd semester known as Miqat. The purpose behind organizing this program was to combine sightseeing with the study and observation of spring in the Organic Village (Ning Jhuq). This student-led initiative, involving 12 participants, including myself and Sir Dostdar Hussain, aimed to create a relaxing experience in the serene environment of the organic village, fostering a sense of adventure among enthusiasts. The entire program was meticulously organized by this group of students, and the day concluded with a beautifully executed event.
