The emulation of good traditions and the
manifestation of serious habits are the hallmarks of a healthy society.
Especially in those matters when the matter is of “Teacher” and a short
ceremony is held to pay homage to them. By the way, as a nation, we are known
as a nation that is addicted to celebrating traditions and customs. We are
indeed lovers of tradition and lovers of performing rituals. Then why should we
lag behind in such matters (celebrating days). Now just look at this “World
Teachers' Day”. Every year this day is celebrated with great pomp and show and
a lot of lectures are given on the greatness and importance of the teacher and
it is made to believe that this day is more important than any other day. In
principle, this should also happen. Because there are only two teachers who
play an important role in our lives. One teacher provides us with the
foundation of life. That is, our parents and the other are our teachers who are
the cause of strengthening that foundation. As students, we cannot forget both
these teachers and the other important thing is that we should never get tired
of student life. Rather, we should always aspire to be students. Because this
is the only department that never goes into decline. It always remains in
ascendance.
It has also been laid down in the Hadith that:
"Be a teacher or be a student (pupil)." No third way has been kept.
Those people who wish to remain students and strive to become teachers should
be considered fortunate. And the collective efforts of both play a prominent
role in socialization.
To maintain the social fabric, there is a
great need to celebrate certain days and give priority to certain
personalities. One of these important personalities is the "teacher".
Each of us learned from some teacher and accepted them as guiding principles in
life. Today, when we have entered practical life, surely the role of that
teacher has not ended, but even today those teachers and their advice are a
beacon for us. To prove this fact, the students of BBA Semester 4, University
of Baltistan Skardu, today (October 5, 2023) organized a short ceremony at Sundus
Campus and performed the duties of organizing and managing on the occasion of
this day.
