Hussainabad: Broq, Waterfall, and Maisoor Rock

Eid al-Adha has passed, with various animals sacrificed at the divine court. Now it's time for invitations - those whose circle of friends and "blood relations" is vast will always be invited on time for feasts, while those with few relatives and distant relations will be enjoying the taste of their own sacrificed meat in solitude. Our government (Government of Pakistan) is also quite generous, not missing a chance to have fancy dishes ready at home during Eid, while the eaters sit in offices, corporations, farms, and institutions swatting flies. That's why the government immediately announced Eid holidays and provided a good break of three to four days just to indulge in meat feasting. Like millions of Pakistanis, you too must be enthusiastically enjoying the Eid holidays at home, and this enjoyment is not without its significance in two ways:

First: Enjoy the peace and quiet, switch off the cell phone, stay connected with the TV remote (as long as the electricity is on) or keep moving from one room to another and then to a third room, these Eid holidays will pass by just like that. In my opinion, this is not entertainment but a moment of boredom, aimlessness, and brain fog that weighs heavy on your soul. Maybe most of us are currently experiencing the same situation.

Second: Become a special guest, and you will achieve this status only when your position and status are at their peak. Meaning you have just become the freshest groom, have stepped aside from an important position, or have tasted the joy of a great success. And if none of these are in your fate, then you haven't been called "the traveler of prosperous means." Buckle up and head towards a distant destination and savor the beautiful gifts of nature. The act of exploring these destinations is within your reach. You won't be bored sitting at home nor will you face aimlessness and brain fog. Just go! You are there, with your traveler's spirit and the beautiful vistas of nature spread out before you.

Gilgit-Baltistan is a paradise for adventurers, nature lovers, and tourists looking for some serious fun. With valleys galore, stunning glaciers, and rivers flowing in every direction, there are endless opportunities for exploration and excitement. So, step out of your comfort zone, pick a valley nearby, kickstart your motorbike for the ultimate ride, and head towards your destination.

Hussainabad Broq:

Our sense of tourism is of the same kind. After a couple of holidays, we started exploring the tourist spots. Firstly, very close and easily accessible, the valley of Hussainabad Baroque was there. I had already heard about this place. Since this place is linguistically unique based on its three-dimensional affiliation, it was necessary to visit it. Baroque is located just a few kilometers away from Hussainabad. There are several sharp turns on a rough road to reach this village with around 35 households, which is labeled as "dangerous, scary." It means that the desired location (Baroque) can be reached through an easy road. A long, wide stream of water flows, but it is not called a river. On both sides of the stream, there is a large pile of white stones. Local shepherds explained that during 2007, due to a major flood, the banks of the stream expanded. Otherwise, before the flood, the volume of the stream was very low, there were no stones, and both sides were lush green.

Maisoor Rock:

In the village, right at the beginning and on the upper surface of the mountain on the right side, there is the famous "Mysore Rock" of old times. It's a long rock positioned in a slanted fashion, as if it had stuck its neck out of a window. Tourists who make their way to the very top corner of the rock are definitely the brave ones, with guts and stamina. This rock has not only captured attention at a local and national level, but has also succeeded in attracting international tourists towards itself. When we reached the beautiful Brogue Peak, a group of foreign tourists had just arrived from Mysore Rock. It was surprising to see that this group included individuals ranging from 25 years old to 60 years old, and there were even a few women. I was thinking that despite being down below here, we were unable to reach Mysore Rock, and these people have traveled thousands of miles just to fulfill their travel desires here.

Tears flowing down from the mountain:

If you keep moving forward in that direction, you'll see a lush green scene with a variety of small and big trees standing tall. As the grass, trees, and greenery come to an end, you'll spot a rugged mountain to the right side. From a distance, it seems as if the mountain is crying and tears are streaming from its eyes. Or it appears as if someone has painted the mountain in black.

Hussainabad Waterfall:

In the beginning of the Boroq, Hussainabad Waterfall is already there. This waterfall is famous for "Photogenic". The owner of the waterfall located behind a small restaurant is Saleem Hasan, a student of University of Baltistan Skardu management sciences and commerce. Saleem Hasan has a vast experience of exploring dearth beloved ventures and new places of leisure. He is one of the pioneers of "Maisoor Rock". Saleem Hasan has a big hand in attracting people towards this stone. They want to build a unique restaurant on the land adjacent to the channel of nearly twenty-two canals. Currently, a conventional restaurant is established and Waterfall is becoming a reason for enhancing the beauty of this restaurant. Hundreds of people come here on a daily basis and satisfy their love for tourism. Saleem Hasan has also built two to three fish farms. They also have six breeds of geese that are considered extremely human-friendly.

However, today's tourism has also become a source of enjoyment for us. Along with me, University of Baltistan Information Technology (IT) Additional Director Imtiaz Ahmed was also there.
