Indeed, every wisdom
of that blessed Being is beyond human reason. Man makes decisions according to
his own understanding and wisdom, and he also wants the results to be in
accordance with that approach. While the will and desire of that God is the
most exalted and free from human limitations. His will is so vast and wide that
He repeatedly overlooks human shortcomings and gives each person an opportunity
to return and abide by the boundaries of his Creator and Provider.
Now take the example
of this coronavirus 2020. It has been almost a year and a half, and despite all
the efforts, human labor has neither been successful nor has it proved to be
fruitful. The number of deaths is constantly increasing, while the number of
affected people is also getting out of control. According to the review reports
so far, more than ten million (as of this writing) human lives have been lost.
It is undeniable
that this epidemic is a source of admonition for man and also a source of mercy
in some aspects. As we are observing, today the whole world is in a state of
silence like a city of the dead. The chain of mutual closeness has come to an
end. People are separated from each other. In such a situation, the earth and
sky begin to feel a kind of relief. The original identity of the universe was
returning. In particular, the element of nature has once again returned to the
vast atmosphere. For about a month, the whole world has been completely safe
from the crowds of people, the noise and commotion, and the uncontrolled
traffic. In such a situation, scientists say that the cleanliness in the
atmosphere is worth seeing. There is neither smoke nor pollution. On the one
hand, this process has given our vast universe a chance to breathe, and on the
other hand, the sun has created a zest in its heat and light. Everything on
earth is feeling a new heat. Plants are on the verge of regaining their
originality, while humans are also getting a lot of opportunity to get closer
to God and bow their heads before His power.
Who are we humans?
Those who used to
sing the praises of will have perhaps lost their way. Where did your will go? A
slight glimpse of nature shattered our "will" and made us realize
that you cannot harm even a small thing with your will. What to say about
claiming to be the master of all.
Wait! You do have a
will, but!
The limits of that
will have been determined. Not given too much power. Bound by restrictions. I
would like to say that perhaps today's woman (women who claim the will of their
physicality) has become a little more "sensible". Preparations are
being made to atone for the sins committed by some men by trampling on the pure
teachings of Islam. It is not known what kind of concept of freedom these women
take. But it is a fact that somewhere it is ignoring Islam, its laws, and
endorsing the policies of others. Of course, a woman's body is hers and it is
her will to do whatever she wants with her body. It is okay that your physical
form is a reality, God has given you the full right to live and live your life
according to your will, but why do we forget that as Muslims we are bound by
many kinds of limits and restrictions. We made a promise on the day we became
Muslims and decided to follow the Sharia of Hazrat Muhammad. In Arabic, one of
the meanings of Islam is to bow down, that is, to apply the "yes
boss" situation to your body and even your soul. The whole life of that
prophet, the life and character of your Ahlulbayt (A.S) and your Sahaba (R.A) are
before us. As some rumor-mongers have also pointed out in social media, the
saying of Hazrat Fatima (AS) is:
“There is nothing
better for a woman than that she should not see any non-mahram man, nor should
any non-mahram man see her.”
It is narrated from
Imam Ja'far Sadiq (AS) that:
“Allah Talaa revealed to His
Messenger (SAW) that he should tell Fatima Zahra (AS) that she should never
disobey Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), because if he is displeased with her, then I
will also not be pleased with Fatima.”
I claim that the
current scenario is a lesson for those who harp on about their own will.
Rather, it is a lesson and an admonition for every human being that we are not
the masters of our own will. We are in need of one Being, and that Being wants
to see us bound by principles and rules.
In conclusion, as we
mentioned at the beginning of this discourse, if our atmosphere can be
completely cleaned by stopping vehicles for one month, then why should we not
celebrate one month annually as "Social Distancing" so that the earth
and sky can remain on their eternal orbit and humans can also get a full
opportunity to live in a healthy environment.
