I have observed a common trend on social media
platforms: people are quick to judge and make decisions. It is common to
attribute a mistake or evil to a person. Sometimes, just by looking at the
apparent scene, an immediate decision is made that such and such a person is a
bad character.
As a responsible member of society, it is our
responsibility to strive for character-building, and this effort should start
with our own character. Because a person should first correct himself and then
participate in the character-building of the people around him. It is obvious
that society is formed by individuals and personalities. If there are no
individuals, then where will the structure of society come from?
In developed societies, along with cleaning the
doorstep of the house, it is common to take care of the streets and
neighborhoods. The streets and roads there are as clean as the cleanliness seen
inside the houses. How can a society be worthy of emulation if every resident
only cares about himself and is not concerned about other people? The sad
aspect is that we are addicted to the latter. That is, we neither care for
ourselves nor do we think about the formation of society.
Where the tradition of character-building and
society-building is common, there history is also made, and this history
becomes an example for the rest of the world. Many nations of the past and
present are role models for modern humanity. The need is that we should focus
on our character and be serious about society-building, only then can we form
an ideal society.
