The Bustle of the City of Power

I have been in the city of power for the past week and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I have several opportunities to observe the situation in the city of power, especially the upcoming general elections on February 8.

The hustle and bustle of the upcoming elections is not as visible as it was in the previous elections. However, Nawaz Sharif has started his election campaign in earnest from Hafizabad, while Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is warming up the deserts of Sindh. Jamaat-e-Islami is also present somewhere. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has also announced that it will launch a full-fledged campaign.

The second situation is the Pakistan-Iran conflict. First Iran attacked, then Pakistan took revenge by retaliating. After that, the two-sided religious force of the Mujahideen-e-Social Forum woke up. One is issuing a statement to teach a lesson and the other is reminding us of the lesson of accountability.

In any case, our religious brothers should think that Pakistan and Iran are both brotherly neighbors and neighbors sometimes quarrel and sometimes live in peace. Any kind of conflict between the two countries is not a good omen for the Muslim Ummah. However, no one can deny that the importance of the homeland and national integrity is dear to everyone, be they Pakistani or Iranian.

The third situation I observed at HEC. The intricacies of this institution, which handles the high-stakes educational system of Pakistan, are very complex. I wanted to get the "Article Equivalent" of my three books. In this regard, I have been trying to get information from several officials but have not yet received any comprehensive guidance. It is not known why there is so much ambiguity in HEC documents and other matters.

Anyway, I still have a lot of time. I am sure I will be able to find the person who will tell me that a research-based book is equivalent to a W or X category article in HEC's eyes.

The rest of the sightseeing and roaming around will continue. I have already done Trail Five and now I plan to do Trail Three on Sunday. I also have a desire to visit Karachi, hopefully I will be able to see Karachi again after 2019.

The Countless Layers of Margalla Hills:

Trail Three is not as easy and does not have as many trees as Trail Five. Trail Five is full of dense trees, with a series of bushes and tall trees on both sides of the path. There is also a spring in the middle. Trail Three does not have any such features.

For the residents of Islamabad, this green and lush hill is no less than a blessing. It is our duty to cross this hill at least once a week. On the one hand, it will improve our health and well-being, and on the other hand, it will give us a great opportunity to feel the presence of nature.

Perhaps Islamabad is ranked among the most beautiful capital cities in the world, and the secret of this city's beauty lies in this very hill. It seems that a green sheet has been spread on the front side of the Margalla Hills and several layers of lush green grass have been placed on the back side in a very delicate manner. The Margalla Hills are a delightful and entertaining sight for tourists.

It is imperative for the residents of Gilgit-Baltistan living in Islamabad to go for a walk on this hill at least once a week and express their emotional attachment by refreshing the memories of the mountains present in their homeland.
